Meet Boulder Edge TV - The Crew

Spencer O'hara - Boulder Edge Producer and Editor

Spencer O'Hara - Producer/Editor

Spencer attended Chapman University’s film school in Southern California, and worked in Los Angeles in a wide variety of areas including Broadcast News, web TV, Reality TV, Films, and Documentaries.  He takes pride in working on projects that inspire change, and promote a positive community.

Spencer visited Boulder for the first time in August, and started packing the minute he got home.  After living in California his entire life, he leapt at the opportunity to start anew in an epic landscape with awesome people.

Spencer immediately teamed up with long-time friend and colleague, Brandon Mikulka, to provide local businesses with affordable video solutions through The Next Step Video.  Soon after, Spencer searched all over Boulder County to find a cocktail napkin epic enough to concoct BoulderEdge TV. When not hatching secret plans on napkins, Spencer enjoys a wide array of other activities.  After playing the violin he would like to think of himself as a musician of sorts, and his passion for strength and fitness prompted him to become a Russian KettleBell instructor.

BoulderEdge TV marks the fourth web TV show Spencer has had the privilege to work on, and he is excited about the possibilities.  He sees it as a way to inform and serve the people of Boulder.
Brandon Mikulka - Boulder Edge Producer and Shooter

Brandon Mikulka - Producer/Videographer

Brandon has been working as film professional for over 8 years.  After graduating from film school in the beautiful Monterey Bay in California, he went to Los Angeles to make a career in the film industry. After spending a few years working on several blockbuster films he decided to start freelancing his services as camera operator. Through this venture he discovered his passion for creating original video content. However, because of the “money first” mentality of the Los Angeles film industry, he decided to move from LA.

Brandon arrived in Boulder, Colorado where he found the beautiful people of the Front Range. Enjoying the incredible landscapes, friendly neighbors, and healthy lifestyle of Boulder County, he decided to stay. He established his video services business, The Next Step Video, and began to create original video content for local businesses. The more he got acquainted with the city, the more he realized that Boulder needs a service like Boulder Edge TV offers.

Brandon teamed up with co-creator Spencer O’Hara to make the web show that is now known as “Boulder Edge TV.” He is excited for the opportunity to create content that will benefit the community of Boulder County and have the chance to interact with so many of its dynamic people.
